Yantai signs 38 projects at Qingdao Multinationals Summit

Yantai signed a total of 38 projects at the Symposium on Yantai - Transnational Enterprises Industrial Cooperation, which was held in the coastal city of Qingdao, Shandong province on June 20, and more than 110 enterprise representatives from Global Fortune 500 companies, multinational corporations, and well-known enterprises took part in the event.
The symposium is part of the Third Qingdao Multinationals Summit, which is getting underway in Qingdao from June 20 to 21.
Zheng Deyan, mayor of Yantai introduced the city's geographical advantages, solid industrial foundation, and open and inclusive business environment at the symposium. He said that Yantai is beefing up efforts to integrate into the country's new development pattern, and the city is eager to share the opportunities brought by the industrial cooperation with all parties.
Zheng added that Yantai is currently cultivating 16 key industrial chains, and promoting the integrated development of the city, the port and industries. He expressed his hope that more enterprises can choose Yantai as their investment destination to achieve win-win cooperation.
A total of 30 projects with a combined investment of 26.93 billion yuan ($4.02 billion) were signed at the symposium, and eight projects were signed at the main venue of the Third Qingdao Multinationals Summit. These projects are mainly in the fields of high-end equipment, ocean engineering equipment, new energy, the digital economy, smart logistics, and biomedicine.
