The Jiaodong Economic Circle Industrial Internet Summit was held in Yantai, Shandong province from July 24 to 25, aiming to explore ways for industrial internet development in the Jiaodong Economic Circle.

The industrial park for digital economy development in the Jiaodong Economic Circle was unveiled at the summit. It will gather high-end research institutes and China's leading enterprises to promote industrial internet development.

The Jiaodong Economic Circle, which consists of Qingdao, Yantai, Weihai, Weifang, and Rizhao, has a strong foundation in developing industrial internet. In recent years, the area has promoted the construction of infrastructure, as well as the development of the advanced manufacturing and service industries.

The Yantai government has signed cooperation agreements with the China Industrial Internet Research Institute, the National Industrial Information Security Development Research Center, and the China Academy of Information and Communications in an effort to promote the city's industrial internet industry.
