China Tourism Day occurs on May 19 every year, the day that Xu Xiake, a famed travel writer and geographer in the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), started writing his famous travel books. To celebrate the day, pay a visit to Yantai Haichang Whale and Shark Aquarium in Yantai and enjoy the cool summer breeze.
Yantai Haichang Whale and Shark Aquarium is the world's first whale shark-themed aquarium. Here, visitors can see a wide variety of marine animals, such as cute baby whales, many kinds of sharks, and more than a hundred kinds of jellyfish.
