Fushan cherries shone at the 2021 Chinese Cherry Business Conference which was held from May 8 to 9 in Dalian,Liaoning province.

Since 2016, the conference has been successively held in Yantai, Luoyang, Xi'an, and Beijing. This year, experts, buyers, and representatives of the cherry industry from more than 20 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities attended.

The conference has also played an important role in promoting the top brands and the quality of cherry products, with the total output of cherries predicted to reach 1.4 million tons in 2021.

Jiang Chenghai, the director of the agricultural and rural bureau of Fushan district, gave an introduction of Fushan cherries' history, variety, and quality at the conference.

Officials said that Fushan district will take this conference as an opportunity to build a cherry industry cluster with industrial advantages and basic chains. In addition, they said that they will strive to strengthen foreign exchanges and cooperation to jointly contribute to the development of the national cherry industry.
