Apple harvest season arrives in Penglai

Farmers in Penglai district, Yantai welcomed apple harvest season in late October. Penglai is one of the main apple production centers around Bohai Bay with more than 500,000 mu (33,333.33 hectares) of fruit orchards, and nearly 370,000 mu of apple orchards. The apple industry has become an extremely important industry for local fruit farmers.
