The Yantai international healthcare industry exposition will be held at the Yantai International Exposition Center on Nov 6-9, according to an announcement at a news conference on Sept 19.

The expo will display the latest results in the field of healthcare and provide an exchange platform for institutions and companies focusing on medicine, nursing, rehabilitation, tourism and scientific research.

The expo will cover an area of 12,600 square meters and have 10 themed exhibition areas focusing on fields such as elderly care, medical treatment, rehabilitation nursing and leisure tourism.

A total of 600 booths are planned and more than 50,000 buyers are expected to take part.

Since 2016, the expo has been held three times and attracted a total of 1,400 enterprises and 9,200 merchants seeking cooperation.

A total of 329 cooperation agreements have been signed with a total turnover of 380 million yuan ($56.23 million).

The revenue of Yantai's healthcare industry totaled 100 billion yuan in 2019.
