Chateau Junding recently opened its 12th Grape Picking and Wine Festival in Yantai, a coastal city in East China's Shandong province.
The festival, which will last until Oct 19, offers visitors a chance to pick grapes, learn about the process of wine making, brew their own wines, and explore a European-style wine cellar.
Chateau Junding sits along Phoenix Lake near a forest, a wetland park, a racecourse, and a fruit garden.
It is also home to Asia's largest multi-functional underground wine cellar, which has an area of 8,000 square meters.
Chateau Junding has become a leader in the research and development of seedlings, grape cultivation, wine production and sales, grape estate tourism, and the promotion of wine culture.
