A marine equipment enterprise in Yantai Area of China (Shandong) Pilot Free Trade Zone recently signed a cooperation agreement with Nanhuangcheng village in Changdao comprehensive pilot zone to help promote the development of the village's fishing industry and further advance rural revitalization.

According to the agreement, the Yantai Jinghai Marine Fishing Company will build 100 large intelligent fishing cages in the sea near the village to help the locals breed aquatic animals.

Nanhuangcheng has a strong foundation when it comes to developing its fishing industry. It has adopted the artificial breeding techniques of Korean rockfish.

With the support of the company, each cage will produce more than 1,000 tons of perch and Korean rockfish.
