Yantai, a coastal city in East China's Shandong province, was named among China's top 10 exhibition cities at the China Conference and Exhibition Industry Innovation and Development Conference held in Shanghai on July 7. This is the second time Yantai has won the award.

The conference attracted more than 300 people, including experts, businessmen, and elites in the conference and exhibition industry, to explore innovative ways to boost the exhibition industry.

Yantai’s conference and exhibition industry has developed rapidly in recent years. It has hosted a series of international conferences, including the World Industry Design Conference, the International Fruit and Vegetable Exposition, and the Yantai International Wine Exposition.

A total of 320 million yuan ($45.79 million) in transactions were made at the 2019 Yantai International Wine Exposition, which was held from June 28 to 30, 2019.
