Yantai attracts 10 billion yuan investment in Shanghai

A delegation led by Zhang Shuping, Party secretary of Yantai, Shandong province visited Shanghai from June 13 to 16 in an effort to attract investment.
The group visited several renowned enterprises, research institutions and local key projects, including Greenland Group, the Shanghai Institute of Materia Media of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Shimao Group.
Three projects costing a total of 10 billion yuan ($1.41 billion) were signed during the trip.
Zhang held in-depth discussions with representatives on regional cooperation in intelligent manufacturing, cultural tourism, digital economy, and cross-border trade.
During the discussions, he said that Yantai is in the process of industrial upgrading and accelerating development. Several key projects are currently underway, offering strong potential for attracting investment.
Zhang expressed hope that all parties would spare no effort in the development and construction of key areas and projects.
Yantai plans to ramp up efforts to provide a strong business environment and comprehensive facilities to attract more investment and further promote the city's economic development.
