The total transport volume of cherries from Yantai airport is expected to reach 6,000 tons this year, a year-on-year increase of about 10 percent.
This is the seventh year that "cherry flights" have been opened at Yantai airport. Over the years, the service has brought prosperity to the city's fresh fruit e-commerce market and greatly promoted the development of air freight services and cold chain express logistics industries.
