Yantai holds event in celebration of China Tourism Day

Yantai municipal culture and tourism bureau has launched a series of promotional activities in celebrating the China Tourism Day taking place on May 19.
Yantai Mountain and Zhaoyuan gold mining town provided free admission to visitors, while tickets for Longkong Nanshan scenic area were sold at half-price on the day.
Laizhou, a county-level city administered by Yantai, hosted more than 40 cultural and tourism activities which included a Chinese rose festival, a cherry picking-up festival, and traditional cultural learning courses. It also ran special buses convenient for visitors to arrive at the city's various attractions in Penglai, Haiyang and Qixia.
Local residents also can enjoy discount tickets to Changdao Island Scenic Area from May 19 to Dec 31. Kunyu Mountain is offering huge discount for tourists until Dec 31.
