An intelligent tax service machine was recently introduced in the Yantai area of the China (Shandong) Pilot Free Trade Zone. It is the first of its kind in Shandong province.

The device uses AI and big data technology to offer automatic services related to taxpayer information records, real-name certification, and invoice issuing and certification, which is expected to greatly improve efficiency for taxpayers.

The device also offers facial recognition and video and voice interaction, providing real-time tax guidance for users.

Since it was founded in 2019, the area has been continually improving its tax services. The local government has already provided tax services for 2,094 enterprises.
