Ferries from Penglai and Longkou cities in Yantai to Lyushun, Liaoning province, which were suspended due to the epidemic, resumed operation on Feb 26.

So far, the three passenger roll-on/roll-off transportation routes operated by Bohai Ferry Group have all resumed operation.

According to Yu Jianxin, general manager of Bohai Ferry Group, the route from Yantai to Dalian reopened to the public immediately after the Spring Festival holiday to ensure transportation around Bohai Bay.

Bohai Ferry Group has implemented epidemic prevention and control measures and made efforts to create a safe and comfortable environment for passengers and ship captains.

Workers will check the temperatures of passengers before boarding and urge everyone to wear masks.

Additionally, the group also opened a green channel for medical supplies with free transportation.
