A signing ceremony was held via video conference by the Yantai municipal government on Feb 18.

Chen Fei, mayor of Yantai, hosted the conference and introduced the projects to participants from counties and districts through the video.

Video conference is an innovative way to promote cooperation and maintain economic growth amid the novel coronavirus pneumonia outbreak.

A total of 10 key projects with an investment of nearly 80 billion yuan ($11.59 billion) focusing on high-end equipment manufacturing, new-generation information technology, and other high-tech fields were inked at the conference.
