Chinese traditional paper-cutting is one of the most representative forms of folk art and it was included on the UNESCO World Intangible Cultural Heritage List in 2009.
Jiaodong window paper-cutting is unique among Chinese paper-cutting art forms, for its focus on storytelling. Its themes can range from objects to historical stories, myths and legends.
The exhibition provides an opportunity to boost the profile of the traditional Chinese art in Hungary.
It also strengthens mutual exchanges and cooperation between Yantai and Miskolc city.
The exhibition will last to Sept 30.
