Yantai discus thrower clinches women's gold in Doha

Feng Bin, a Yantai-born discus thrower, clinched the gold in the women's discus with a record distance of 65.36 meters on the last day of the 2019 Asian Athletics Championships in Doha, Qatar.
The championship was held from April 21 to 24, with Feng's victory wrapping up China's perfect run in the women's throwing events after the team won the other three events of hammer, javelin and shot put.
Another Chinese athlete, Sun Yang, came second in the event, throwing the discus 63.16 meters to pocket the silver medal.
