Yuhuangding Temple Fair attracts 145,700 visitors

The Yuhuangding Temple Fair, held annually during the Spring Festival holiday in the eastern coastal city of Yantai, attracted 145,700 visitors from Feb 1 to 6 with a wide array of 66 cultural folk performances.
Included on the Shandong provincial intangible cultural heritage list in 2016, this year's temple fair was designed to showcase Yantai's rich folk customs, including shadow play, Haiyang Yangko (a Chinese folk dance form), Laizhou brush writing, Yantai paper cutting, stilt walking and dragon and lion dances.
