Art lovers in the city of Yantai have a great opportunity to enjoy authentic Western oil painting in an exhibition of European classical paintings that opened on Dec 10 at the Yantai Folk Museum.

Some 27 quality Western oil paintings created during the eighteenth and nineteenth century are on display, all provided by Yu Feng, a Chinese-Austrian artist whose ancestral home is in Shandong province.

Jointly organized by the Yantai Art Gallery, the Yantai Museum and an art salon from Vienna, the exhibition will last until Jan 15, 2017.
