The 2015 China (Yantai) folk artworks fair will kick off at Yantai International Expo Center in Yantai, Shandong province on Sept 25, informed an official.

More than 1,000 booths, comprising folk artworks from nine countries and regions will be displayed during the fair. The event will also include six themed exhibitions covering Qingtian stone carving, agate carving, classic furniture and wood-block New Year pictures.

The officer added that the four-day event will be free for visitors and there will be 20,000 free Spring Festival couplets each day for them.

In addition, other activities such as a fitness dance competition will be held to present Yantai residents' diverse cultural life to artists from home and abroad.
