Sino-South Korea photography exhibition opens in Weihai

The Sino-South Korea photography exhibition celebrating the 32nd anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and South Korea opened in Weihai, Shandong province on Aug 31.

The exhibition showcases 160 works created by artists from both countries, exploring the themes of natural environment, urban development, and human existence through the lens of photography.

This event represents a deepening of exchanges between Chinese and South Korean photographers in the fields of nature and environment, reflecting the shared commitment of both peoples to sustainable development alongside economic growth.

Liu Aichun, deputy director of the Weihai Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism, delivered a welcome speech, emphasizing the long-standing friendship and close cooperation between China and South Korea. "The two countries are close neighbors geographically and culturally, with a long history of exchanges," Liu said. "This photography exhibition further deepens mutual understanding between our two cultures and promotes exchanges between artists and art groups, marking the start of a new chapter in Sino-South Korea cultural exchanges."
