Wind power is a crucial player in the transition towards a greener and low-carbon future. Leveraging its extensive coastline and vast offshore areas, Shandong is at the forefront of offshore wind power development.

Located in Dongying, East China's Shandong province, the Dongying Offshore Wind Power Industrial Park, with a total planned investment of 48 billion yuan ($6.6 billion), stands as a testament to Shandong's commitment to clean energy. Encompassing the entire wind power industrial chain, from turbines and blades to foundations, towers, generators, gearboxes, and bearings, the park is poised to revolutionize offshore wind power manufacturing.

The park is projected to generate an impressive 31.3 billion kilowatt-hours of green electricity annually.

A surge of domestic offshore wind power companies has gravitated towards the Dongying Offshore Wind Power Industrial Park, leading to the creation of a comprehensive offshore wind power equipment manufacturing ecosystem. To date, 28 projects along the industrial chain have been signed into effect, with a total investment of 24.8 billion yuan.

Dongying is striving to achieve an output value of more than 50 billion yuan by 2025, transforming the Dongying Offshore Wind Power Industrial Park into the nation's largest, most comprehensive, and best-equipped offshore wind power equipment manufacturing base.
