The China-Japan Confucianism Dialogue, a precursor to the 10th Nishan Forum on World Civilizations, was held at Kansai University in Japan on April 22. Over 20 experts and scholars gathered to engage in a profound dialogue on the modern values of Confucianism. The event served as a valuable platform for intellectual discourse and cultural exchange.

The participants acknowledged the close cultural ties between China and Japan, as both belong to the East Asian Confucian cultural circle, with a shared legacy of Confucian values.

The scholars emphasized the significance of cross-cultural exchanges and communication in fostering a harmonious and diverse world. They called for collaboration between China and Japan to serve as a model for the future of humanity.

During the dialogue, the Shandong Academy of Social Sciences, the Nishan World Center for Confucian Studies, and Kansai University in Japan expressed their commitment to long-term collaboration and exchange.
