In a recent interview, Lin Wu, deputy to the National People's Congress and Party chief of Shandong, emphasized the province's cultural and historical significance. He stressed Shandong's role in building a modern Chinese civilization.

Lin also highlighted the profound significance of building a modern Chinese civilization and the continuity, innovation, unity, inclusiveness, and peaceful nature of Chinese civilization.

Expounding on Shandong's culture, Lin enumerated the province's rich and diverse cultural resources, including the profound influence of Confucianism and the coexistence of canal culture and maritime culture. He emphasized the importance of preserving and improving traditional Chinese culture.

He outlined Shandong's efforts to promote cultural research, protect its heritage, integrate traditional culture into modern life, and carry out cultural exchange.

He emphasized the establishment of the Nishan World Center for Confucian Studies and the accelerated construction of the Shandong section of the Great Wall, Grand Canal, and Yellow River National Cultural Parks. Shandong has launched a series of cultural and tourism products that highlight the characteristics of Qilu culture, and Shandong-made products are gaining popularity across the country.

Looking ahead, Lin expressed the province's commitment to assuming the responsibility of a cultural powerhouse and making greater contributions to the construction of a modern Chinese civilization.
