On March 1, China National Heavy Duty Truck Group, or Sinotruk, held a ceremony in the Jinan Comprehensive Free Trade Zone in Jinan, capital of East China's Shandong province, to mark the export of its 14,000th heavy-duty truck in February.

The company once again set a record for monthly exports among domestic heavy-duty truck enterprises, achieving a new milestone for China's heavy-duty truck industry exports.

In 2023, Sinotruk exported 130,000 heavy trucks, up 47 percent year-on-year. Export revenue reached 42.9 billion yuan ($5.9 billion), a 55 percent year-on-year increase.

The company's exports in February set a historic record, and it maintained its leading position in heavy-duty truck exports in China and became the world's top company in single-brand heavy-duty trucks in terms of sales volume.

In the first two months of this year, Sinotruk's heavy-duty truck exports reached new highs with 13,000 and 14,000 units, respectively, continuously breaking the domestic monthly heavy-duty truck export records previously held by the company.

This breakthrough in the company's exports can be attributed to a series of reform and innovation measures taken by Shandong Heavy Industry Group and Sinotruk since their merger five years ago.

Sinotruk has established approximately 300 sales units in over 90 countries worldwide and nearly 600 service and parts outlets in more than 110 countries, contributing to the development of logistics systems around the globe.
