The Shandong Heavy Industry Group Global Partner Conference and a product exhibition were held in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates on Nov 25.

The two events were attended by 570 dealers and customers from over 70 countries in the Middle East, Europe, Africa, and South Asia.

The conference was aimed at exploring new pathways for international collaboration and establishing a platform for mutual exchange, said Tan Xuguang, chairman and general manager of the Shandong Heavy Industry Group.

During the conference, 14 companies were recognized as the top partners of the Shandong Heavy Industry Group for 2023.

As this year marks the 10th anniversary of the Belt and Road Initiative, Shandong Heavy Industry Group has initiated a series of global partner conferences to strengthen cooperation with its peers. The group currently has 287 overseas offices and established close ties with many global enterprises.

During the conference, the company also launched five initiatives for further cooperation, including providing customers with the most value-optimized integrated solutions, building the most competitive sales channel network, and creating a comprehensive service system.

The Shandong Heavy Industry Group is planning to establish regional operation centers in Dubai, Singapore, Central Asia, South America, and Africa, and create a unified service platform integrating after-sales services, parts, logistics, and training.

During the event, Shandong Heavy Industry Group also displayed its renowned brands including Kion forklift trucks, Linde Hydraulics, Baudouin, Weichai Power, Sinotruk, to highlight its high-tech achievements in the fields of new energy, power systems, commercial vehicles, engineering machinery, smart logistics, agricultural equipment, and marine transportation equipment.
