More than 3,000 whooper swans have already flown to Rongcheng in Shandong province to spend the winter so far this year.

Rongcheng is one of the most significant winter habitats for whooper swans in Asia. The homeland of Chinese whooper swans, Rongcheng has been continuously increasing its efforts to protect the ecological environment of the Swan Lake Wetland, resulting in a gradual increase in the number of whooper swans wintering in the city in recent years.
