Exhibition highlights Shandong's green, low-carbon development

An exhibition featuring Shandong's green, low-carbon and high-quality development achievements is underway in the Huang-Bohai New Area of Yantai, a coastal city in Shandong province.

The exhibition, which is running from Aug 28 to 30, is being held as part of the 2023 Green, Low-carbon and High-quality Development Conference. It is jointly hosted by the Shandong Provincial People's Government, the Shandong Development and Reform Commission, and the Yantai Municipal People's Government.

It highlights Shandong's achievements in green ecology, scientific and technological innovation, industrial upgrading, reform and opening up, and the improvement of people's livelihoods.

Shandong, an economic powerhouse in China, is ramping up efforts to accelerate the green and low-carbon transformation of its development modes, maintain green and low-carbon development as the fundamental solution to ecological and environmental issues, accelerate the formation of green production modes and lifestyles, and lay a green foundation for high-quality development.
