The first batch of 1,000 natural gas-powered buses manufactured by Zhongtong Bus based in Liaocheng city, East China's Shandong province were delivered to Kyrgyzstan on Aug 8.

In addition, half the shipment is scheduled to arrive Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, the republic located in Central Asia, before Sept 30.

The buses were customized for Kyrgyzstan's market and emit 20 to 30 percent less emissions compared with conventional fuel-powered vehicles, according to technicians at Zhongtong Bus.

The stock exchange-listed company is one of China's leading new energy bus makers. It has currently annual production capacity of 30,000 large, medium and light buses.

Its products are now exported to more than 100 countries and regions in the world, with its international market share steadily rising.
