The 2023 Japan (Shandong) Import Expo is expected to take place in Jinan, East China's Shandong province from July 21 to 24.

The expo will feature five exhibition areas showcasing products related to medical and healthcare, smart life, fashion life, culture and tourism, and service trade.

This year's event will invite Osaka prefecture as the guest city of honor for the first time. Multiple activities will be held to showcase Osaka's economic and social development, trade and investment policies, competitive industries, as well as high-quality products.

Several well-known Japanese enterprises, including Sumitomo, Mitsubishi, Mizuho Bank and Omron, are expected to participate in this exhibition, and many prefectures in Japan such as Niigata, Okinawa, and Fukui will display their specialty products at the four-day event.

The second China-Japan Medical and Health Cooperation Forum will also be held during the event. The forum will explore new cooperation models under the new development stage, allocate superior resources and build cooperation platforms for China-Japan medical and healthcare cooperation.

The event will also include a cultural tourism carnival featuring Japanese elements. A wide range of Japan's most iconic products related to food, animation, travel, beauty, and handicrafts will be exhibited.
