In order to implement the "double reduction" policy and expand students' horizons, Binzhou Experimental School carried out a series of activities to reduce examination pressure and promote students' all-round development and healthy growth through studies on topics that they are interested in.

Students at Binzhou Experimental School have a number of options for extracurricular activities including calligraphy, sports and dance, which aim to give them a healthier development process.

In July 2021, China introduced a set of "double reduction" rules to ease the burden of excessive homework and off-campus tutoring for young students. Strict measures have been launched to prevent off-campus curriculum subject tutoring services for students enrolled in compulsory education and preschoolers.
