A variety of Russian cultural products and specialties will be showcased at the country's exhibition area at the 2nd China International Cultural Tourism Fair, which will take place from Sept 16 to 20 in Jinan, capital of East China's Shandong province.

Nearly 20 oil paintings created by Russian artists will be available for sale, said Lu Jiyong, executive director of Qingdao Shangheyuan Technology Co, an exhibitor at the expo's Russian booth. Visitors can appreciate Russia's landscape and culture through these paintings, added Lu.

The exhibition will also feature a Russian high-end ice cream that is made with high-quality fresh milk and contains no hazardous substances or transgenic materials.

According to Lu, the brand owns natural grazing land where more than 8,000 milk cows are raised. It also runs many cranberry, blueberry, and blackcurrant production bases which provide healthy raw materials for the production of the ice cream.

Wine from Russia's Valery Zaharin winery will also be sold at the expo. The wines by this storied brand have a special flavor because they were made using traditional techniques, said Lu.
