The 2021 New Growth Drivers Fair, a supporting expo of the 2021 Qingdao Multinationals Summit, opened at the Qingdao Cosmopolitan Exposition on July 15.

Themed "New Pattern, New Growth Drivers, New Opportunity", the event aims to offer an international and highly efficient platform to promote industrial cooperation among multinationals and showcase the industrial advantages and development opportunities of Shandong, the province which Qingdao is in.

The event will be held both online and offline until July 17.

The offline venue spans 23,500 square meters and showcases the latest products and technologies of 55 leading enterprises from home and abroad. Among them , 40 percent are among the world's or China's top 500 companies, including German industrial group Siemens, Swiss chemicals and construction materials giant Sika Group, and Chinese home appliance leader Haier Group. 

The online exhibition comprises two sections - one presents the offline displays through VR technology and the other showcases the achievements of companies in intelligent manufacturing, high-quality life and sci-tech innovation through live streams.

Online promotional events specially designed for markets in Russia, Thailand, South Korea and Pakistan have already been held, with nearly 300 companies taking part and more than 60 initial cooperation agreements being reached.
