Jiaozhou Bay Bridge is a cross-water structure linking the Huangdao, Chengyang and Licang districts and Jiaozhou city in Qingdao, East China's Shandong province. It is located above Jiaozhou Bay and is one of the important parts of Shandong's expressway network. The bridge starts from the Bay Bridge Interchange in the east, crosses Jiaozhou Bay, connects with the Hongdao Interchange in the middle and ends at the Huangdao East Hub Interchange and the China-Shanghai Cooperation Organization Local Economic and Trade Cooperation Demonstration Zone in the west. The total length of the road is 42.23 kilometers and the bridge is 31.63 km long. The bridge deck is a two-way, six-lane highway with a design speed of 80 km per hour.
