Penglai Pavilion

This Mid-Autumn Festival, characters from Chinese mythology — Chang'e the Moon Goddess, her Jade Rabbit and the Eight Immortals — will come to life at Penglai Pavilion.

On Sept 25, a poetry recital will bring together moon-gazing and classical verse. The Eight Immortals will roam the scenic area, greeting visitors and handing out mooncakes.

From Sept 26 to 27, interactive games will be held across the site — ring-tossing, arrow-throwing and poetry challenges — turning a casual stroll into a playful trip through tradition.

Luoshan Mountain National Forest Park

Over at Luoshan Mountain National Forest Park, the new autumn highlight is chrysanthemum viewing on the mountain.

The flowers are expected to bloom around Mid-Autumn Festival, lining the mountain trails with vivid colors. Reach the top, look back, and a vast expanse of flowers and seasonal scenery unfolds below.

Jingxi Blueberry Manor

For a two-day, one-night escape, Jingxi Blueberry Manor is the spot to be.

Join the autumn harvest — grab a tool, dig into the soil and hunt for sweet potatoes with the kids. There's also a chocolate-making workshop where you can make your own chocolate, taste it on the spot, or pack it to go.
