The extended holiday, which ran from Feb 15 to 23 this year, saw a diverse lineup of 66 traditional cultural activities, 94 artistic performances, and 72 exhibitions, all designed to create a festive atmosphere and stimulate consumption. A primary highlight was the Yangjiabu Lantern Festival, which captivated crowds with dazzling displays, traditional datiehua (molten iron fireworks) performance, and high-tech aerial shows.

Historic sites remained a major draw for travelers. Qingzhou Ancient City ranked among the top five tourist destinations in Shandong province throughout the first six days of the holiday. Visitors were treated to folk performances and traditional rituals that highlighted the city's deep cultural heritage.
