Taishan Grand Hotel, an integral part of Tai'an's heritage, reopened on July 1 following extensive renovations.
Established in 1985 as a three-star international hotel, Taishan Grand Hotel combines business and leisure, serving as a key venue for governmental receptions in Tai'an.
The hotel is renowned for its unique observation deck, resembling a radiant pearl standing at the foot of Mount Tai.
In 2020, the original hotel ceased operations but remained a well-known landmark; then, starting in 2023, it underwent comprehensive upgrades.
"Drawing on Tai'an's rich historical and cultural heritage and its integrated ecological environment, we have transformed the hotel into a comprehensive base for headquarters offices, industry training, business conferences, and hospitality," said the hotel's spokesperson.
"All our room decorations feature motifs related to Mount Tai, and each room includes old photographs of Mount Tai, Dai Temple, and Tai'an. This allows guests to immerse themselves in Mount Tai's culture, witness Tai'an's changes, and gain a deeper understanding of the local customs," the spokesperson added.
Currently, the hotel offers over 160 deluxe and high-end rooms, banquet halls, conference rooms, and state-of-the-art amenities such as zero-pressure smart mattresses and intelligent guest control systems, ensuring a comfortable and relaxing environment that seamlessly integrates modern technology with historical culture.
