The fourth Macao-Qingdao Beer Cultural Festival and the Macao-Qingdao Week kicked off in Macao on Nov 7.

In recent years, the exchanges and cooperation between Qingdao and Macao in the fields of economy, trade, and culture have been deepening. Over the past four years, the twin city beer festival held in the two cities has attracted over 100,000 residents of Macao.

For the 25th anniversary of Macao's return to the motherland, the twin cities of Qingdao and Macao used beer to promote their openness and promote the Macao-Qingdao Beer Cultural Festival, promoting cooperation in various fields between Qingdao and Macao to move towards higher quality, broader scope, and deeper levels.

Cooperation between Qingdao and Macao in terms of economy, trade, exhibitions, cultural tourism, and education has continued to deepen in recent years. They have jointly organized exchange activities such as the Dynamic Macao Business and Trade Fair.

Official data demonstrated that Macao has invested in a total of 85 projects in Qingdao, with actual Macao capital utilization reaching $130 million. Direct flights between Qingdao and Macao, as the only air corridor between Shandong and Macao, have transported over 160,000 passengers in its six years of operations.
