The Entrepreneurs' Happiness Dialogue was held in Taicang, Suzhou on Oct 25, and announced that Qingdao was listed on its 2024 Happiest City for Entrepreneurs (prefecture-level and above cities) list.

In line with its theme, this year's dialogue focused on promoting entrepreneurial spirit, developing new quality productive forces, and optimizing business environment.

Qingdao was named the 2024 Happiest City for Entrepreneurs (prefecture-level and above cities), along with Hangzhou, Chengdu, Suzhou, Ningbo, Jiangsu's Taizhou, Wenzhou, Changsha, Yibin, and Taizhou in Zhejiang. This was the second time Qingdao has received this title.

This year, Qingdao accelerated reforms in key parts of the business environment, and implemented high-quality measures to make government services more efficient while also developing the private sector. This continuous effort aimed to create a first-class business environment characterized by marketization, rule of law, and internationalization, and to continuously enhance the sense of achievement, recognition, and happiness of the vast number of entrepreneurs.
