Two Qingdao development zones recognized among China's top 100 parks
The Qingdao Economic and Technological Development Zone and the Qingdao National High-tech Industrial Development Zone have been recognized among China's top 100 high-quality development parks, ranking 17th and 24th, respectively, according to a recent report by CCID Consulting, a leading market research firm.
The Qingdao Economic and Technological Development Zone has capitalized on the strengths of industry giants such as Qingdao BOE Optoelectronics Technology to attract key projects and enhance service support.

This strategy has fueled new momentum for high-quality growth, especially in the new display industry, which is evolving from isolated developments into a comprehensive industrial cluster. In the first five months of this year, the new display industrial park in the region has secured five key projects and is pushing forward 12 integrated new materials initiatives.
Meanwhile, the Qingdao National High-tech Industrial Development Zone is pursuing a strategy focused on cutting-edge innovation and high-growth industries. The zone is leveraging opportunities arising from the latest technological advances and industrial transformations to drive new industrialization.
A notable highlight is the fast-tracked construction of a $700-million manufacturing and supply base for inhalation aerosols by AstraZeneca. The facility will be the largest and most advanced inhalation aerosol production base in the world.
