Russian students dive into Chinese culture in Qingdao
A group of twelve middle school students from Russia took part in a hands-on immersive experience of Chinese traditional culture at Hengxing University in Qingdao, Shandong province on Aug 12. The students engaged in activities such as paper-cutting, Peking Opera mask painting, and fan painting, offering them a close-up experience of China's rich cultural heritage.
The event was part of a summer camp running from Aug 9 to 15, centered around Chinese language learning, cultural experiences, city exploration, and intangible cultural heritage. The program aimed to deepen the Russian students' understanding and appreciation of Chinese culture, while also fostering stronger cultural ties between the youth of China and Russia.
