Ceramic pioneer illuminates Qingdao's pottery scene
In the Danni Painters village in Zhangjialou, Qingdao West Coast New Area, Shandong, Ye Jianming, the inheritor of ceramic craftsmanship, is diligently honing his skills at the Boyi Ceramic Workshop.

Recognized as a master of arts and crafts in Shandong province, Ye has made significant contributions to the art and heritage of ceramics.
With over three decades of dedicated efforts, he has developed a unique style that blends culture and artistry, excelling particularly in the depiction of traditional Chinese paintings on ceramics. His creations are often referred to as "oil paintings on porcelain."

Ye's ceramic workshop has become a vibrant platform for the creation and transmission of ceramic culture. It is not only a hub of rich ceramic heritage but also a functional space equipped with areas for ceramic production and heritage display.
The workshop is also home to a gas kiln used for firing ceramics, allowing Ye to complete the entire process of ceramic creation and production in one place.
