Qingdao reinforces business cooperation with Minsk
An economic and trade conference was recently held in Shinan district, Qingdao, gathering local representatives and their counterparts from Minsk, Belarus.
The conference was attended by nearly 100 businessmen from various Qingdao business circles and several entrepreneurs from the Minsk Branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Liu Qinglin, a senior official from Qingdao Federation of Industry and Commerce, emphasized the importance of enhancing economic and trade collaboration between China and Belarus. She expressed her hope for attracting more outstanding foreign-funded enterprises to invest and grow in Qingdao.
Irina Ivanova, deputy director for foreign economic relations of the Minsk Branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, emphasized that China is a crucial trading partner for Belarus, and that this conference will create new opportunities for collaboration between enterprises from both places.
During the meeting, the China–SCO Technology Transfer Center and the Minsk Branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry signed a cooperation agreement, further consolidating their long-term cooperation.

Furthermore, representatives from over 10 Chinese and Belarusian companies participated in a round-table forum that was centered around China-Belarus technological innovation and trade opportunities. The main objective of these activities was to foster the growth of the private sector in both China and Belarus.
