The Qingdao Promotion Day event took place in Qingdao's sister city of Regensburg, Germany, on July 8.

The event was organized by the information office of Qingdao municipal people's government and aimed to help residents of Regensburg deepen their understanding of the Chinese city.

During the event, traditional Chinese decorations such as lanterns, Chinese knots and cross-stitch works were displayed. Promotional items like posters, postcards, notepads and brochures were also distributed to the public.

Attendees were also taught to write their own names in Chinese and given fortune cookies to enjoy.

The people of Regensburg showed great enthusiasm in visiting Qingdao and expressed a desire to witness its stunning landscapes and savor its world-famous beer.
