Rose industry boosts rural vitalization in Jimo
Over 200 hectares of rose fields in Lingshan town of Qingdao's Jimo district have entered the full-blossom period, attracting many tourists to appreciate the flowers and take photos.
Lingshan town has become a hub for rose cultivation, with over 1,200 varieties of roses grown in the area. The town has established a rose industrial park that integrates various aspects of the rose, including planting, seedling breeding, product development, and production, as well as leisure and entertainment activities.
This comprehensive approach has proven to be successful, attracting over 300,000 tourists each year. The development of the rose industry has only boosted the local economy but also contributed to the improvement of local farmers' incomes and the overall rural vitalization efforts in the area.
