Tea culture festival kicks off in Qingdao WCNA
A tea culture festival kicked off on in Haiqing Town in Qingdao West Coast New Area (Qingdao WCNA) on April 22. With strong backing from the China Tea Marketing Association (CTMA), the two-day festival was organized by the local government, and celebrated Haiqing tea's rich traditions while offering intriguing glimpses of the industry's innovative future.
Alongside a live opening ceremony featuring an array of evocative performances by local tea farmers and students displaying their mastery of tea ceremonies, the event introduced the Haiqing Tea Expert Think Tank – an esteemed group of specialists positioned to fuel the growth of the tea industry.
As a beacon of Haiqing tea's progress, agreements were also announced to increase the brand's presence in supermarkets, expand its industry base and develop intelligent ecological tea gardens.
Based on the "Southern Tea Introduced to the North" strategy, Haiqing Town has strategically deployed 16 measures to revitalize industrial clusters and accelerate the tea industry's development. This strategy has successfully awakened the synergistic growth potential of tea industry integration and rural revitalization.
With a clear vision for the future, Haiqing Town is committed to advancing standardization, branding and ecological tea garden construction, as well as harnessing the vast potential of tea-based products.
