The much-anticipated Qingdao Phoenix Music Festival will be held in June in the eastern coastal city of Qingdao, Shandong province, according to the recent official announcement.

It will be held at the Phoenix Sound Theater in Qingdao West Coast New Area. As an iconic music festival in Qingdao, this year's Phoenix Music Festival will invite a number of renowned singers and popular bands, the organizing committee said.

Founded in July 2019, the Qingdao Phoenix Music Festival has quickly become a top-tier music festival thanks to its top lineups, strong bills, and high tickets sales.

The first Qingdao Phoenix Music Festival in 2019 attracted more than 40,000 attendees in two days, topping music events in the same period for most tickets sold.

In October 2020, the second edition once again gathered the top lineup of the Chinese music industry, creating a benchmark for commercial music festivals.
