According to local officials, Qingdao has been working hard to deeply integrate the real economy with the digital economy, which is widely applied in different sectors and plays a more and more comprehensive role in the city's traditional industries.

According to the 2022 China Digital City Competitiveness Research Report recently released by market research firm CCID Consulting, Qingdao ranked seventh in China's "2022 Top 100 Digital Cities" list.

Qingdao has taken detailed measures to enhance the building of a digital government and has made advances in digitalized scientific government policies, targeted measures in social governance, and provision of efficient public services.

It seeks to establish a digital government that is coordinated, efficient, intelligent, open, transparent, and inclusive.

Qingdao is also promoting the application of the industrial internet in various sectors. The industrial internet is a key infrastructure and new industrial ecosystem for the deep integration of new-generation information communication technology and the industrial economy.
