On August 1, a fine art and calligraphy exhibition opened at Qingdao Painting Academy's art gallery in Qingdao's Shinan district to welcome the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, which will take place in Beijing later this year. 

More than 200 paintings, calligraphy works, and seal carvings created by local artists and hobbyists, with themes including Shinan's development, natural scenery, urban development, and everyday people's lives, are on display.

The exhibition is open to the public from 9:00 am to 11:30 am and 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm from Aug 1 to 5.
