According to a local official, it is the first professional incubator in Qingdao's rehabilitation industry. Within three to five years, it hopes to create a highland of scientific and technical innovation in the rehabilitation industry, a demonstration park for the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, and a nationally known rehabilitation professional incubator.

The incubator will work with the Rehabilitation University (under preparation) to establish the Qingdao Rehabilitation Industry Research Institute, which will be the first of its kind in China.

It will build a complete cultivation chain from the transformation of scientific and technological achievements to the listing of enterprises, and provide one-stop and customized services for rehabilitation enterprises.

The incubator also initiated the establishment of the Qingdao Rehabilitation Industry Innovation and Development Alliance, which works with more than 30 colleges and universities, leading enterprises, medical institutions and investment institutions at home and abroad. The alliance will contribute to the high-quality development of the local rehabilitation industry.

The first phase of the incubator covers an area of 14,000 square meters. At present, two batches of 12 projects from Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and other places have passed the entry review and settled in the park.
